Smith Millwork, Inc. was established in 1979 in Lexington, NC, as a family-owned business dedicated to crafting custom mouldings, door jambs, shop windows, and prehung door units. From the very start, our mission was clear: "Moulding a better America through quality and service." This commitment to excellence has been our guiding principle as we grew and evolved over the decades.
As our reputation for quality products and exceptional service spread, so did our business. We expanded our offerings to include a broad range of interior and exterior building materials, transforming into a two-step distributor. Our primary customers became lumber yards and building material dealers, and we proudly began delivering to North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia.
Our growth has been supported by a dedicated team of seven territory managers, an experienced inside sales team, and many employees who have been part of the Smith Millwork family for 10 to 20+ years. Their expertise and commitment have been instrumental in our success. Today, Smith Millwork, Inc. stands as a testament to the values and dedication that have defined us from the beginning, as we continue to mould a better America, one building at a time.
